Still Under Construction

When I choose this university, I never know it's location is in a jungle-like town. I actually hate myself when my friends say my place is too far and they can't come to visit me. I even almost regret my decision. I should have gone to Taylors or something. But then I must remind myself, WHY I choose it at the first place. I must never forget.

'When there's a will, there's a way'

I shouldn't blame myself when my friends can't visit me. As the sayings goes, if they really want, there will be a way. I have to be strong to endure their absence when I really need them. I have to be strong to not always dependent on their presence. I just need distractions. However, the main thing is, it's just my first week here. There is not much distractions! I am super duper bored.

Since I'm too bored I might as well talk about the process of getting enrolled in INTI since I have seen many new students not familiar with the system and the new school.

First, check out the website - www.newinti.edu.my

Check out the requirements, the intakes, the fees, the accommodation and the scholarships. It's all there.

For me, I apply myself, not through agent or cousins or watsoever. I get in contact straight with the officer from admissions office and since Kuching got INTI College, I hand them over my registration form, accommodation form and scholarships form and of course, the most important thing, money. It's all about money in private U and C.

And then they said I'll get my offer letter in a week or two time. I didn't get mine for 3 weeks so I called up and ask. Apparently, whoever the postman is, he hates me and eats up my offer letter. So they email me a copy. That's roughly a week before enrollment day and I need to go for medical check and pack my things. They say I'll have my interview when I reach there.

So, 29th June I flew to KLIA by the 6am flight and reach school around 10am just to know that it's public holiday and all the interviewers are not around so yeah, they say I no need interview. See? I told you it's all about the money.

Enrollment day, 1st July. All empty headed went to school, enrolled at my faculty and got a timetable with all aliens code just to be told those are my classroom number. Ookayy.. Then they tell me to settle my accommodation first. Long story here but you have to buy a padlock for your room.

After that, went to finance office to hand them my fees. And then, took a fugly photo which will appear on my student ID for the rest of the 4 years. Finally, got my orientation timetable and campus map.

Ditched the orientation which means I don't know where is what in the campus. But that's ok, it's not super huge, you'll get yourself out of it.

How to join clubs? There'll be an exhibition week, you can join by that time. Oh, almost forgot about INTIMA, the student body here and they got a super cool office and have super cool activities every day. ALL activities in the school has to be approved by them, imagine how busy they are.

What the.... I wear all formal walk to school under hot sun and dang, waited in classroom for an hour because lecturer never come. Went to faculty and she told me she don't know who is the lecturer. Anyways, I really hate the retarded internet at my block. It sucks bad. Like really really bad. So bad it takes minutes to load half of the facebook home page. Got a cultural night tonight. Paid RM10 for it hope it won't disappoint me and the food won't disgust me. Oh, have a good visit to the library too. And borrowed New Moon. They said I can renew my book online which is sooooo cool. Remember how I used to walk ALL THE WAY to the library just to renew my book. Ok, will post about the cultural night if it's a good one.

My parents have left on Sunday noon so I'm officially alone now. Took some time to clean my room and put stuffs into places. I just realize how many things have I brought compare to my roommate. I even brought a kettle, an iron and a table lamp. I think I need to buy a cabinet or storage box to store all my things away so that I will have some space on my table! I practically threw all the things that I don't want into the cupboard to keep them out of my eyesight for now.

Classes start tomorrow and damn it starts at 8am and ends at like 2pm?? Why monday always have to be the most tiring and hectic? And tuesday? Hah, just one class. I always love Tuesday.

Lets talk about what happen for the past two days. Enrollment day sucks so I might just skip it. Yesterday went to mid valley with parents by KTM. Good experience. There is this place called Pets Wonderland at the top floor of mid valley mega mall which is the most awesomest pet store I ever saw. Must go there to have a look if you ever stop by mid valley. So the whole day was spent walking around the mall that can't be finished visiting in one day. And I should say I love Jusco because they sell sushi with cheap price!! Total heaven for me. The price is much affordable than going Sushi King or other Japanese restaurant and in my opinion they are equal delicious and fresh. Other than sushi they sell other types of food too. Of course, cheap price. I am waiting for a Jusco to arrive in Nilai. Oh, I haven't talked about the town I'm in now.

Nilai, a small town, to be precise, a small malay town. So if you walk on the street, you will mostly see malays. The only entertainment here is Giant and Tesco. And the KTM station because it brings you to other town. Haha. Nilai is located in Negeri Sembilan state. It's 15 minutes away from KLIA and an hour away from KL city. The capital of the state is Seremban. I visited Seremban the other day and I think I wouldn't even finish half the town by walking in a week.

Finish with the town, now talk about my school. INTI INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, a place I choose to come for its physiotherapy degree course. It's not a huge campus like what University of Melbourne or University of Aberdeen. But it's big for me as I have to walk from my resident hall all the way to my class. I share a room with my roommate. Room is reasonably spacious and I think it's almost invaded by spiders and its web.

Hui, the first person I think of and miss very much when I'm bored and alone but I can't call her that much as international call kills my credit. Pak wen, seems so near yet so far is probably still sy Sunway the moment I type this. Ginny, I wish she can just come KL the next minute. Other than that I have no friends in this stranger country. Other than my roommate. Hahahahahaha, sad right? The phase where every new student has to went through is occuring on myself now.

I have arrived in KLIA roughly about 8am this morning. For god's sake, it's raining so heavily when I'm coming down from the air plane. I don't actually quite care how wet I got, I was just concerned about my luggage. They must be soaking in water! My luggage are one of the few that come out early and instantly I know, damn, they must be wet. True enough, they are thoroughly soaked. As if this was not bad enough, I got a taxi that is literally filled with water. I think I saw the bonnet flood with water but as I didn't go near it and saw it with my own eyes, I just keep hoping I'm having illusions due to waking up too early this morning. Hah, the truth hits me when I get out of the taxi and found my pants wet all the way through to my rear skin. Exaggerating much? Try it for yourself!

Wait, I think I tell the story too fast. That's actually the second taxi which the school called for me. The first taxi I got which is from the airport is good alright. Taxi driver is very friendly, talking in malaysian malay which I'm having a hard time to keep up with. Taxi is definitely not flooding and doesn't smell either. Comfy and not wet. When you got the worst, you'll appreciate very much when u got a better one. Drive up to school and then BAM, it's public holiday. Aaand, why am I not informed? I'm even told to come today! The head of admission department keeps apologizing and call a cab for us. That is how we get the flooding car. Imagine a car flood with water! How on earth can a car be THAT broke and still out to bring customer!

Ok nevermind, finally reach hotel. The boss is an angel. He brings us around to eat and shop. Well, my first impression of the boss? Old T-shirt, grumpy pants and slippers. So when he offer to give us a ride, I wonder what car are we gonna use. No more soaking car please.

O.O That's my reaction when I see the car. Fine car, a very fine car I would say. Anyways, he is such a lovely.

At this time of the night, 11pm++, when I'm typing furiously, outside is booming with music. No pubs or clubs here because there is an islamic univeristy JUST RIGHT BESIDE my hotel. University! It looks like a.... well, it doesn't look like what a person would call university. Anyways,the area is filled with tudong girls. You can see them walking EVERYWHERE. So, no pork here. No night activities. No gambling(My dad has gone insane at this state)

It's quite a different story near my university. Because there are many international students. Surely you dont want to freak them out with all those rules. I havent see the campus yet. Lets just hope I wont lost myself inside. I dont have a htc sense in hand! Ok, cold jokes.

Plan to go Seremban tomoro. So, ciao~

Just so anyone know, I am going to KL tomorrow to end my very much jobless life. Congrats me, fast! My flight is 6am. Yesh, AM. I quite like this time of the day, even tho I'm not a morning person. A quiet, fresh air morning. Feels like a great start. Will update my blog soon~!

Lets see, my forever holiday is coming to an end now. The past 6 months is a total waste of my life. Lets see what have I done. Oh, nothing! Yay~!

Well, I have tried a little baking and frankly, I'm proud of myself for that little success. It's sooo little that it's not worth mentioning about it, seriously. Ok, I did some paus, doughnuts, cookies, and 'creative' drinks. My creative drinks is to add all possible things into a cup, pour hot water and ta-da~

Gotta go airport in 2 hours time to send someone off. Guess I gotta leave this post half written.

點餐。那他走了以後呢就非~~常順其自然是倫到我嘛.尊貴的歐巴桑這時就非~~常

自然地站到我前面開始點餐.氣不?

幸好服務員知道啦.結果還是讓我先點了.不過! 那歐巴桑拼命擺著一副不耐煩的

樣子.(=.=" 我想她大概是前世餓到了啦. )

不過, 看她這樣我反而跟服務員聊更久,就是要氣到她頭髮冒煙﹐腸子穿洞﹐我才覺得人生有意義. Hah!
